August '26:

• Jared Cole successfully defended and became the first Ph.D. to graduate from the Harpak Lab!  

June '26:

• Srivi and Katy developed trAIt, a software (and wrote a paper describing and evaluating it) for LLM-based retrieval of species x trait data. 

• The lab had a great showing and had a blast at PEQG 2026 at Asilomar, California.
